STREETS OF AUSTIN

the alarm, sense of Wanderer
set in
realizing I was homeless
a true rolling stone
no family no friends
just a yearning for a safe place
to lay myself down
the luxury of a shower
clean clothes
a corner in a room...

but found myself
on the ground, alongside Shoal Creek
a bite of bread
scavaged from a dumpster
and my backpack
my only comforts

walked and walked
till literally could walk no more
the blisters on my feet
burning from the pavement of Austin's August sun

a homeless wanderer
in my late 50's
sever spinal degeneration in my neck
sapping, draining my strength

but, Walk on, Walk on

HEAVEN ON EARTH

The Perfection that you seek
seek no more
it is here

Heaven on Earth
was announced long ago

The Beauty you desire
desire no more
You are that Beauty

The Secret
no longer is hushed
for it is loud and clear
As above, so below
it is now, it is here

Rejoice
exalt in your being
be as your are
abundant

Now is the time
Consciousness is your domain
Life is yours to claim
Dominance over all forces

TRANSFORMATION of the SOUL

I climbed a mountain
each step of the way
destroying ego, identity
psychic structures of the past
old patterns, forms, conditioned reflexes

By the time I reached the summit
I had completely destroyed Personality
as an empty vessel I then descended
into the dry lake bed below
Primed for receptivity, empty and Innocent
again
No Structures of Perception
nothing to impede Divine Reception

Wait...abide a while
Lightning came in a flash
and because of its emptiness
my mind was illuminated as never before

Like a refreshing rain
Liquid Light poured over my brain
releasing a heavenly nectar
like a lava flow down my spine
until it reached my awaiting Heart

Then an  Alchemical mixture took place
Divine Light & Brain Nectar & Blood of my Heart
combined to create a Transformative Substance
that coarsed thru my veins
Renewing, Recreating each and every cell
Building a New Body of Light

Body of Solid Light
Perfectly formed
a vehicle for Consciousness
a New Man capable of Infinite Creativity
Capable of Creating a New World

it is this which captures our attention

probably not
but re-awakening Innocence
a definite possibility

Once awakened
the Flame of Innocence
burns with an intensity
which commands our Attention

STRUCK by LIGHT

Sitting alone
cultivating the quiet
I was struck

in my former ways

all the usual hinderances

when the Light is switched on

my life evolved
once I stopped plotting
surrendered, accepted
and stepped into the flow

Letting go
was perhaps the hardest part
not knowing where, when, or what
but step-by-step

fractures ripple, tingle all along its surface
The Crown gives way to the Eternal
