DOORS OF PERCEPTION

like the dawning of a New Day
my Personal Path of Inner Discovery
reveals to me
mysterious and divine laws of life
hereto shrouded but now unveiled

Awed by inspirations unimagined
overpowered by Truths undeniable
I submit to Divine Wisdom
yielding, offering no resistance
to Original Mind undeluded

'tis a bodily experience
much like the opening of a creaking door
long since unmoved
rays of Light burst forth
from a Source unkown, unseen
flooding my consciousness, illuminating its darkness
vanishing, vanquishing its ignorance

Opening the Doors of Perception
pulling back the curtains of a long darken room

Light prevails...

INNER WORTH

The measure of a man's worth
is the Force of his Inner Being
not an outward display
of empty force
quite the contrary
but by an Inner Acceptance
and Inner Balance
which can move mountains
that striving, cannot

QUIET CITY

One cannot gain entry into
the Quiet City
by kicking-down the door
rather
he must be led, like a quiet lamb
into the Kingdom

Tho the streets may be paved with gold
the door is barred
access, granted to thoz only
humble in Spirit
